abyssal-jellyfire
Drag a glow jelly through predator blooms, graze for sparks, and pulse shields in an underwater bullet hell.
About this tile
Abyssal Jellyfire is a mobile-first underwater bullet hell for Poe: drag a bioluminescent jelly through predator projectile blooms, ride shifting currents, collect trench sparks, and pulse a shield at the last second to turn danger into score.
What you can do
- Drag to drift — steer directly on the play surface; the jelly follows with soft, current-influenced motion and glowing trails.
- Graze predator blooms — near misses build combo, score, and shield charge without hiding the jelly under a button-heavy UI.
- Pulse shield tactically — hold/tap while charged to pop colliding blooms, survive dense waves, and keep the run alive.
- Resume safely — the current run, deterministic seed, wave, position, hazards, trail, score, lives, shield charge, and terminal records are stored in synced-store so reopening resumes the dive.
Canvas/Three.js note: this game uses SVG/DOM rendering rather than Three.js. The mechanic is 2D danmaku with a small object count, so SVG keeps the mobile Poe iframe sharp, lightweight, and easy to inspect at 350×509, 375×667, and 780×414.
