bagh-bandi

Play Bagh Bandi with stacked goats, two hunting tigers, direct taps, and a polished Three.js board.

About this tile

Bagh Bandi is a traditional tiger-and-goats hunt game from Lower Bengal played on an Alquerque board. This standalone Poe app keeps the board dominant on phones and desktop, with direct point taps, highlighted legal moves, stacked goat pieces, animated tiger captures, and synced-store state for every round.

What you can do

  • Play the stacked opening: goats begin in four five-high stacks, and each goat move takes only the top goat to a connected empty point.
  • Hunt with two tigers: tigers move along the printed Alquerque lines or jump over an adjacent goat stack to capture its top goat.
  • Read the board quickly: legal moves, capture landings, selected points, and the last route are highlighted directly on the Three.js board.
  • Practice fast finishes: the Drill button loads a deterministic capture scenario for learning and automated verification.
  • Track rounds: wins, capture count, turn state, and remaining goat count stay visible while the board keeps most of the viewport.

Built on Synced-Store

The game state lives in synced-store tables, and shared mutators validate moves, captures, round resets, selected points, and drill scenarios consistently for every Poe app instance.
