Brush fossils by hand, assemble dinosaurs, then automate interns, scanners, conveyors, and museum exhibits.

About this tile

Dino Dig Idle is a tactile fossil clicker for Poe: brush a glowing dig face by hand, uncover fossil chips and amber, assemble dinosaur skeletons, then reinvest museum coins into interns, scanners, conveyor digs, and exhibit wings.

The first action is direct on the play surface: tap or drag the brush over dirt. Each brush persists the current run through synced-store, including the run id, seed, dirt layer, fossil chips, amber, coins, assembled skeleton counts, automation levels, combo streak, and last tick timestamp. Reopening the app resumes the same dig instead of starting over.

Progression is themed around the dig loop:

  • Manual brushing clears sediment and reveals bones.
  • Raptor, Triceratops, and T. rex skeletons convert chips into crowd and coins.
  • Interns and scanners add idle fossil discovery.
  • Conveyor lines refill dig layers and accelerate finds.
  • Exhibit wings turn completed skeletons into museum income.

Rendering uses lightweight HTML/CSS instead of Three.js so the main dig surface stays fast and readable inside small Poe mobile feed iframes while still supporting tactile animation, haptics where available, and reduced-motion preferences.
