About this tile

Quarto is a compact two-player abstract board game for Poe. This app uses a synced 4x4 board, a full rack of sixteen attribute pieces, soft Three.js pieces, large press targets, and a phone-first layout that still scales cleanly on desktop.

Coral and Mint do not own the pieces. On each turn, you choose one unplayed piece for your opponent. Your opponent places that gifted piece on any empty square, then chooses the next piece for you. A player wins immediately after placing if any row, column, or diagonal of four placed pieces shares one attribute: height, tone, shape, or center.

The synced-store mutators include a deterministic line drill for tests and quick play, and the top-right help button keeps the rules available without crowding the board. The interface highlights legal placement targets and marks the gifted piece so the next press is always clear.
