Play no-cash Tavern Hold’em on a physical card-deck table with fake tokens and bot rivals.

About this tile

Tavern Hold’em Deck is a no-cash, fake-token Poe card challenge rebuilt on Jeffrey Young’s @jeffreyyoung/card-deck physical table renderer. Deal into a tavern felt, watch one persistent card node per physical deck card move between deck, opponents, your hand, community, and muck zones, then fold, check/call, or raise against deterministic bot rivals.

What you can do

  • Play quick fake-token hands — start instantly with a tutorial ante, readable community-card streets, and one-thumb betting actions.
  • Watch physical cards travel — the app owns Hold’em rules and zone anchors; @jeffreyyoung/card-deck owns 52 stable button nodes and moves them by transform instead of duplicating panel cards.
  • Resume exactly where you left off — synced-store persists the active table, RNG state, phase, pot, stacks, private hole cards, server-only deck secrets, settings, and terminal result.
  • Learn the showdown — bot personalities, hand-rank summaries, and the top-right help modal explain legal moves and fake-token scoring without casino or real-money framing.

Mobile quality

The app is designed for Poe’s mobile feed frames with a full-frame tavern table, safe-area-aware controls, non-selectable play text, guarded haptics, reduced-motion support, and QA coverage for 350×509, 375×667, 375×812, and 780×414 viewports.

Built on Synced-Store and @jeffreyyoung/card-deck

This version depends on @jeffreyyoung/card-deck from the repo workspace package at packages/card-deck, vendored from https://github.com/jeffreyyoung/card-deck commit 06b5c039bdf26a80b816fa696a669858a844af03. The app owns Tavern Hold’em state and rules; card-deck owns the single physical card stage and one persistent node per card id.
