worms
A Worms-style artillery battler with swipe-panning camera, drag aim and velocity, multiplayer teams, destructible terrain, and Three.js art.
About this tile
Worms is a compact turn-based artillery game for Poe: drag near the active worm to aim and set velocity, swipe elsewhere to pan the battlefield, cycle weapons with direct controls, reshape the terrain, and try to knock out the opposing team. It starts as a single-player match against CPU worms and can be switched into multiplayer for shared synced-store play.
What you can do
- Play a full artillery round with wind, turn timers, health, craters, and
round-end detection.
- Drag to shoot with a Worms-style aim reticle, trajectory preview, velocity
readout, and compact left/right/jump buttons for movement.
- Move smoothly with short walk, hop, and slide interpolation when worms
change position.
- Swipe to pan the camera while keeping the active worm clamped in view.
- Cycle weapons directly without opening menus, covering core shell,
grenade, shotgun, air strike, movement, teleport, rope, and skip-turn choices.
- Play through translucent overlays instead of a reserved menu/sidebar UI.
- Invite other players into the same Poe app instance and play from synced
state rather than local-only state.
- Play on phone-shaped screens with portrait controls and a compact Poe
iframe layout.
Built on Synced-Store
This app uses the Poe app platform's synced-store primitive for multi-user state sync, offline-first writes, and conflict resolution.
Asset Policy
All visuals are original procedural Three.js/CSS art. The game is inspired by classic side-view artillery mechanics but does not ship copied Worms 2 assets, text, logos, levels, or sounds.
