Taiko Jam
Collaborative rhythm jam — pick an avatar and an instrument, tap a beat pattern, and layer it onto the group's track.
About this tile
A collaborative rhythm jam. Each player picks an animal avatar and an instrument, taps out a beat pattern in time with the song, and layers it onto the group's shared track.
What you can do
- Pick an avatar — frog, cat, panda, fox, axolotl, bear, pig, or raccoon. Each one is claimed by a single player.
- Choose an instrument — drums, bass, guitar, keys, shamisen, or flute. Only one player can hold a given instrument at a time.
- Record a layer by tapping on the beat. Your hit pattern is locked to the song's grid so everything stays in sync.
- Browse the jam with everyone's layers playing together, and queue up a new instrument to add another part.
- Cancel mid-recording to back out and try a different instrument without losing your previous layers.
Built on Synced-Store
Avatar and instrument exclusivity are enforced inside the mutators — the server rejects any pick that's already claimed. Each (user, instrument) pair maps to a unique row in the layers table so a player can never accidentally double-write the same part.
